Hi, is there a department in the St. Paul area (south I think) that has a Sutphen tower that was refurbed with an HME cab? If so, is it still in service? If anyone has a photo that they can post would be greatly appreciated!

Yes there is i believe the department you are thinking of is North St Paul Ladder truck, i do not have a photo of it let me see if i can fine one.

There is also a former tower south that is re-furbed with a Pierce Cab, former south St Paul Ladder 2.

Thanks for posting the photos! I knew that S St Paul had a refurb, just thought it was the one with the HME cab. I didn't know anything about the Pierce cab refurb, when was it placed out of service? I've always wondered what the HME/Sutphen looked like, looking forward to seeing a photo of it if you're able to find one.

Yeah, i will see what i can find the one your thinking of is north st paul and is still in service. this one is south st paul here or now South Metro Fire Department. It was placed out of service around october or november and replaced with a Pierce ladder they got with a grant. i have a photo of that one but its not a great shot.

Josh - GREAT pics! I'm not usually a fan of this type of chassis but Minnesota must be doing something right with their designs because this is now my favorite thread! Thanks to all the contributors. Keep up the great work!

This was the only photo I got of Squad 1 before the accident. It was sitting in front of the shop doors on a weekend so nobody was around to move it. You had to be quick to get a posed shot of this one.

LOVE this rig! Thanks for posting!

This looks like the CF that Pete Jorgensen owned from Vt. I don't have any info on it, but maybe someone else does. Nice pics, very much enjoying this thread! TJ <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stirpot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Stirpot' />
