Red 4 1974 Oshkosh M-1500/Rehab 1986 by Quality 1000 gpm/1500 gwt/180 Foam shop number 18218 turned over by the Air Force when closing the George Air Force Base in Victorville. The City of Victorville operated the Airport Fire Department until San Bernardino County took over operations of the Victorville Fire Department under contract. Assigned to Station 319.
Thanks Tim, Victorville list it as a M-1500 but isn't that the designation of the civilian model which this is not since it was transferred from the Air force?

The M-1500/M-4000 is the civilian Versions of the Oshkosh P-15 which the Southern Calif Logistics Airport still has last I heard.

They have one P-19 1985 1000 gpm/1000 gwt/130 Foam and two P-4's the one pictured and another 1975 that does not appear to have been rehabbed (They, meaning Victorville, list both as M-1500's) along with the 1982 M-4000 8X8 2400 gpm/4000 gwt/515 Foam all of which they got from the Air Force when George Air Force Base closed and the Southern California Logistics Airport opened.
