Elizabeth Rescue 1

Not really Rescue 1. Elizabeth recently picked up a brand new Crimson/Spartan Heavy Rescue (think FDNY rescue style). These unit is one of the NJ UASI supplied Special Ops trucks built by PL Rescue 1 in NJ. Twin to the ones in Newark, Hoboken, Bayonne, Hackensack, Paterson, North Hudson, and Morristown.

I saw this in FAJ, I'd really like to know more about it, looks like two small diameter discharges for decon lines or showers off the front bumper

Here is a pic of my company's Aerialscope and or old Snorkel.

Here is a pic of our old Snorkel have to see if I can find a better pic.

More pics of the Snorkel can be found by scrolling down thanks to Frank B having posted them back in Feb. Makes it easy for not having to dig through pics up at the fire hose. These pics are from a parade probable around the early 80's before the front blue flashing lights lens where changed to red and fog lights where and to the front bumper. Behind the Snorkel is Engine 4 which is housed Washington Hook and Ladder Co. 1 with Ladder 1 which was at the time could have been the mid mount Perisch or the Alf 100' if it was around 82-83.

That Young snorkel made at least one trip to Butler, maybe two. Definitely for our 85th anniversary parade in 1987 which was the combination NJ State Exempts Convention and North Jersey VFA Parade -- were you with them that day? I'm also thinking it may have made the trip for our 75th anniversary in 1977. BTW, Secaucus always had a very nice bi annual firemen's parade.
