1960 GMC 5500 snub-nose/Morysville, custom enclosed walk-in rescue body, cascade system-6 bottle 2500 lbs each, 336 CI V8 gas engine, 200 HP, 5-speed manual transmission, 5 KW generator, in 1982 it was sold to Vigilant Hose Co. of McKees Rocks (Allegheny County), who then sold it to a private collector.

The private collector is the Western Pennsylvania Firefighters Memorial Honor Guard. They are a group of firefighters that are from many departments in the Mon-Valley and South Hills led by the commander, Martin Kaur, a retired firefighter himself. They own a Mack CF, and a mini bus, and the equipment is housed in an old Braddock fire station. They attend fallen firefighter funerals and also have a pipe and drum band and attend parades throughout western PA

Interesting, yet very nice. Does anybody have any pictures of Latrobe No. 2's Engine? I see the Ladder and the Rescue, but no engine. Who built the body of the Rescue?
My records have the Library Air Truck as a 1958 Ford/ALF.
The Monroeville #4 rescue, according to their website is a 1969 Ford/Doerr Bros. 500/300

The Monroeville #4 unit was sold to Presto VFD in Collier Twp, Allegheny County, PA in 1978-79. From what I understand it was then sold to an FD near Houston, TX.

It does not look like an ALF, very neat photo Dave!
These are excellent pictures. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks to me like Air 58 is a 1979 Model. Does anyone have any more classic Scottdale apparatus pics to share? Scottdale also had an American LaFrance Ladder Truck that was purchased by the Irwin V.F.D. Not sure if it was painted or not.
