ah....the infamous W-41 that would come off the line a week before a parade. all the bolt heads underneath had bulldogs and Mack painted on them.

Guilford's Mack is still in service running as Engine 1-5-5 and still assgined to North Guilford Company No. 4.



Westbrook's Engine 7 underwent an extensive refurb a couple years back. Its now a fully enclosed cab, a new body was constructed and is now painted black over red. And yes the roof nozzle is still on the rig.

A question to the Mack specialists: The cab looks like an original Mack 4-dr cab. Did Mack built 4-door cabs on the CFs as early as 1969 ?
