Well it's not from the summer of '06 but since this is the only Mass. thread, here goes.

1987 E\-One 1250/500 when it was new, running as Engine 1, later it would be passed down to Engines 2,3 and 4. Currently it runs as spare Engine 5. (Photo from collection, photographer unknown)

Ok, who can tell me what's unique about this rig? To the best of my knowledge, it's the only Pierce Arrow ever built this way.

Thanks Dave is that the correct answer? I dont know if it's lo pro or has something special built onto the truck that we can't see.

That's correct, Jack. As far as I know, that's the only low-profile Arrow cab that Pierce ever built.

I didn't notice anything odd about the rig so I wouldn't have seen that quirk in the design, will have to make note of that.

Oh yes old Engine 3 (503) from Hamilton. Brings back memories. This truck could pump any fire, but I like our new Engine 3 (503), a Pierce Saber.
