An FDNY Relay Hose Wagon. FDNY utilized these during the WWII era in the event of water main damage during a major air attack on the city. Each of the five carried 3,000 feet of hose. They were converted ALF tillered aerials and were painted grey to make them less of a target for enemy planes. Credit to EMTChris67, Mayer22,and Fyreline.

To round out the USAF 1950's apparatus was the small but powerful - R-2. Based on a Dodge M35 Chassis, this would be the USAF Rescue Truck at every base until the 1970's.
