No. Engine8 was the first. Apparently it is a tradition in the StLFD for "The 8s" to receive the first new rig. Engine2 should have been in service before us, dont know the full details why they arent in their new rig. The 24s, 31s, and 32s are in town too.
Last one for tonight. I will have my camera next day Im on, and get better/more pics..
Its definately different! I just saw the 28s on Saturday at one of our PR Events, the only thing I think it had on it were the rescue tools.

Sure. They look pretty good sittin next to each other. We ran her thru the gammit this afternoon/evening...man can she move some water! Some minor little tweeks needed, but it seems its gonna be an awsome workhorse!

Just got the new H&L 2 in a couple of days ago! gonna go down there on monday morning to officially shoot it! 100' Platform to replace our '96 E\-One! Credit to Scott Fredrickson of Engine 2
E 1, 31 and 32 are in. The new concept worked great today.... 2 engines (you could make it 3 if you count the reserve quint with no aerial capabilites in front of a 2.5 story house with smoke from the top portion of the house. Okay Firepixers!!! Happy Memorial Day! Got something new and special to share!!! We got our new Smeal 100' Platform in last week and I finally got to see it! This one is going to H&L 2(just around the corner in the same building)Replacing the '96 105' E\-One platform. The guys from every shift must have been coming in and out, looking and waiting! They are really really due for a new rig! Anyways, here is what i got! This thing is MASSIVE! 50' ??" and loaded with features!
