In the former TFD, Pumper 2 and Pumper 9 ran with twin '87 Mack/Superior's from the same house.

Frank-

I am curious where you got the picture. It is one of the pics in our collection at the museum, as you can tell by the stamps on it. It is hanging in the museum as a matter of fact. The pic was taken in front of what was Station 1 on Place Youville. The building is still there but is now a non-fire city museum.

Again this photo is from the museum collection and taken in front of former Station 1 on Place Youville.

Toronto Seagrave

I told you guys Seagrave wasn't from OhiO! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Icon_crazy' />

Frank you are correct ... the Seagrave family was actually from Ontario, Canada. The patriarch Frederick started his first business in Detroit. He moved down to OhiO. One of his sons had a plant in Walkerville, Ontario which merged with Windsor, Ontario many years ago. The Windsor (Walkerville) plant was only torn down a few years ago. You may also find some Seagrave apparatus that was built in another Seagrave plant that was located in St. Catherines, Ontario. Walkerville was also home of Canadian Club whiskey.

I'm not sure if both photos are the same vehicle, but the lower photo is a 1927 Seagrave from the Montreal Fire Department. The upper photo appears to be a very similar Seagrave and the background is Montreal.

I think they were the same, also the unknown Seagrave Hose drawn was the same rig posted before with the tractor.

These photos are from the SPAAMFAA collection, Hershey PA. I am scanning the collection (all most done) and getting correct info on what I can find.

Montreal is finally getting around to replacing the Astro vans used by the Operations Chiefs (Batallin Chiefs) and the Impala's used by the division chiefs. First up is the new 2010 Ford Explorers purchased for the operations chiefs. The powers that be bought the 2010's because they are built on truck chassis. The 2011's are not. Both photos by Elliot Albert and posted with his permission.

This is a 2011 Ford Explorer that will be tested for the division chiefs. I am not sure if they have committed yet to replace the Impalas. Again photo by Elliot Albert.
