Congrats! If you ask aroung there are alot of knowledgable guys who are willing to share their knowledge.
You gonna make it to pump primers in Harrisburg next Saturday the 9th?
Very Nice truck good find.
Nice rig brother! You ok with Reg., plates, insurance? Any questions right here is a good place to ask! Looks like I might be going to the Schuylkill County convention in Minersville towards the end of August if you want to add that to the list that I already sent you.

Do a search on Flickr.com for " Seagrave Freeland", there is a photo of it pulled half way out of the house.
I grew up in Hazleton, PA, just to the west of Freeland. I remember this rig from new. One of the best equipped and set up engines I've seen. Freeland has always been meticulous about their rigs. Always spotless, hose well packed, tools mounted.

I wish I could make it on Saturday but I am scheduled for work. I really need to find some equiptment and I hear that is a great place. I spent the weekend polishing the wheels, doing some general maintenance, and of course driving it around and showing it off. I took some good staged photos and will post them soon. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I feel like a kid at Christmas.

Congrats on your purchase! I'd seen this rig for sale on the internet and hoped that it would make it's way to a good home, and it seems as though it did.
Keep us abreast of it's progress.

Tom, thanks for the pics. They had a few hanging in station when I picked it up on Friday but they were all head on shots. They took it out of service after a big fire around Memorial Day weekend. They pumped it for hours but were having some pump issues so they decided to take it OOS. They also had a little boo boo pulling out of station for that call and cought the drivers rear fender and strobe light on the side of the building. (kinda a shame but I like the battle scars and the fact that it happened on it's last call) KME should be done in August sometime. They priced a Seagrave but it was over $120K more money.
