National City, IL operated this 1960 American LaFrance 1000/250 pumper. Mattson Collection <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/usa.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> [/quote] This rig and several others burned when their station was set ablaze in the 1990s. There is a video on youtube I believe of the fire and them running inside trying to get this started. But becasue of the smoke it could not be started and it burned. What a shame.
