"the Green Phantom" had a 500 GPM bumper pump when I shot it years ago, looks to still be there. That Dodge is older than 1976, maybe a 1966?

Interesting. This is either an older Ward LaFrance body, or a damn good copy of one! I have never heard of Hayden before, so I did a little research. There is a company in Darien, IL of that name who has been involved in the fire protection business since 1947. I wonder if they were the WLF dealer back in the day, kinda like Fire Fox was down in Houston?

I HAVE AT LEAST ONE OTHER LISTED AS A HAYDEN. IT WAS A FORD TANKER FROM THE 70'S AT SOUTH STRABANE TWP. (WASHINGTON COUNTY). THAT ONE WAS A STAINLESS STEEL ELLIPTICAL TANK.

This is a Ward LaFrance purchased from McCormick Fire Equipment in the 70's.

I have no idea other that someone who may have done some work on it. I just remember when it was purchased back when I was in PA. Dick McCormick had sold this Ward LaFrance unit and a Ford front mount engine to Oklahoma FD around the same time.
