Several area fire departments have placed new apparatus on their rosters. Delta, B.C. recently added two engines and a 100' ladder tower to the fleet. The newest engine is housed at station 7 and is a 2011 Smeal Spartan Gladiator with a 1750 GPM pump, 500 Gallon water tank, 20 gallon A foam tank and 30 gallon B tank.

Delta T-3 is a 2010 Smeal Spartan Gladiator with 1750/350/20/30/ 100' ladder tower.

Although a photo of this rig was posted earlier in this thread, I thought I would post an in service shot of it. Nanaimo T-3 is a 2010 Pierce Arrow XT with 2000/500/30 (US Gallons) and 100' SkyArm.

The Regina Fire Dept. has dramatically upgraded its fleet with new Rosenbauer apparatus either delivered or soon to be delivered, including 3 quints on 2011 Spartan Gladiator chassis 1500/500/40/75'. This is Quint 207

Along with fellow fire pixer John from Calgary (sorry John, I can't remember your handle on this site), we photographed this 2011 Pierce Velocity 1500/500/30 engine with the large enclosed cab/pump panel which seems to be unique to Western Canada. It carries Job # 23936

in addition to the 3 quints, Regina, Saskatchewan will be receiving 4 pumper/rescues also built by Rosenbauer on Spartan Gladiator chassis. These have the pumps mounted in the rear and the pump controls in the enclosed cab. 1500/500/40

One of the sharpest looking rigs I have photographed is this T-Rex at Chestermere, Alberta. 2009 Rosenbauer/Spartan Gladiator 1750/200/50/102'. The rigs and the station were immaculate! I expect that John will add some of his own images to this thread.

once in BC, I met up with fellow firepixer Terry. We ventured over to Vancouver Island and photographed a number of interesting rigs. I'll post a few and trust that Terry will add some of his own. Victoria, BC's L1 is a 2010 Rosenbauer/Spartan Gladiator/Metz that looks very European. 1250/160/102'

Abbotsford, BC recently added 2 new Hub rigs. Engine 6 is a 2011 Hub/Spartan Metro Star 1750/500/25A/25B with pump in the rear and the pump controls in the rear, driver's side compartment.
