I am interested in all of the equipment and apparatus used in fire fighting and ems service. Quote:What are the holders for on the side of the tank hose, Indian tanks, or something else? Great looking rigThe M-49A2 was a 1200 gallon fuel tanker. Those devices on the side of the tank are for storing the fuel hoses.
I have a Rocky Point question....I noticed on their website that the apparatus are completely different than the ones posted...Engine 2259 on the website looks fairly new.

Frederick County, MD Quote:I have a Rocky Point question....I noticed on their website that the apparatus are completely different than the ones posted...Engine 2259 on the website looks fairly new.Rocky Point is one of four seperate departments that were merged into Pender County Fire Rescue. Each company's apparatus fleet was mixed in and redistribited among the four stations. "Rocky Point" as presented here is more the name of the station rather than the department. Jon U.
One of the trucks Pender County bought during that merger but never placed into service is now at Mars Hill VFD in Madison County. Its a 2013 F-550/Rosenbauer mini-pumper.
