Thank you Dave & Micah, filled some holes in the MC database with these!

Thanks Dave! The WSFD fleet sure has been updated since you were here. The only trucks still in-service with the same rigs are Truck 2 and Rescue 1. The Kenworth/Grumman tele-squrt briefly served King FD and was sold as scrap in 2009 due to the aerial failing inspection.

Truck 4 still around?

The Spartan/Quality/AI is still around as a reserve at Station 2. Truck 4 is now running a 1998 Sutphen 104'RM ladder that used to be Truck 1 downtown.

WSFD had two KW/Grumman 75' Telesqurts. The other one went to King, not the one I posted. It was already at King when I took the shot of the one at WSFD. Jon and I were going to go shoot it that day, but we ran out of time.

This one is a refurb of an older unit. It was my understanding that the only thing re-used was the aerial, everything else was new.

Here is the former truck when Winston-Salem was still a lime dept and had the Public Safety Officer program where police officers also responded to fires (terrible concept BTW for multiple reasons). This unit served several companies during its lifetime and Started as Engine 4 I think.

Several months ago, Kernersville Engine 41 was involved in a collision with a civilian vehicle and was still out for repairs. Filling in for E41 was E45 the day I visited.
