Engine 4 in Saxton River VT was this Ex-FDNY ALF.
What is the latest on this engine? I heard it was for sale awhile ago. Anyone know? Stay safe, Brothers.
Kill 'em all, let Allah sort 'em out. NEVER forget 9/11/01 WTC, Pentagon, Pa. Avenge the acts with NO mercy.
Thanks to ALL the Brothers who were there 9/11/01 and afterwards. Words can never say what appreciation we have for you all.
that's got to be one of the strangest cabs I've ever seen! What kind of contraption is that? It surely doesn't look like a Mack C, even a refurbed Mack C...

Engine 1, Southern Hills FD, Crestview Hills, KY 1972 Mack CF/Summit refurb 1000/650 x-FDNY E-230, MP7208
Last fall this rig was at VSI in Lexington, Ky being repaired (transmission) for possible sale, I haven't been back to find out if it found a new home. It had recently been traded in by the 519 VFD in West Liberty Ky.
**EDIT** Thanks to the info by a couple members, this is confirmed as a non-FDNY rig.

Here's what FDNY X-Lad 38 from a previous post looked like when it served Ramsey, NJ as Lad 442.
Annandale Hose Co of Clinton Twp, NJ Trk 4669 was a 1972/91 Mack CF 75' aerialscope (X-FDNY Lad 159).
Edgemont, PA Eng 311 was a 1979 American LaFrance 1000/500 (X-FDNY Eng 232).

that's got to be one of the strangest cabs I've ever seen! What kind of contraption is that? It surely doesn't look like a Mack C, even a refurbed Mack C...
That cab was fabricated by Panama Fire Apparatus. The front jacks are actually inside the sheet metal. |
