Wow, Dallas FD has started spending some serious money on emergency lights, counted possibly 12 lights on the each of the driver/ officer side, plus a full lightbar.
Nice new rigs. I like the storage compartment for the LDH on the officer's side. Wise use of space.

[/quote] Indeed, the apparatus are very well lit these days. There are some clips of various new vehicles in Dallas showing the lighting packages on You Tube posted by a member named oledandie. I was at Crimson a few weeks ago and they turned on the lights on one of the new rear mount ladders and wow, that is a lot light!!!
After an accident with an apparatus a few years ago, our mayor told us to put every light we could put on the new apparatus and put the loudest sirens available. Maybe there's a reason they're doing it, but I like it. I feel like the more the better, IMO.
