Nice Pictures! By any chance, do you know if Gatlinburg still has their Ward La France Engine?

oh yes most definately they do. At the main station it sits rotting away. The officer was not as obliging to pull out apparatus at the main station so i could not shoot it

I had the same problem when I was there on vacation. I mean, I'm fine with them not wanting to pull them out, it's not a big deal, but the Ward was outside so I won in the end anyhow! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' /> I do believe though, that is now has a hosebed cover with Chevrons on it, as that's what they were doing with it outside when we were there, and like your photo, the tower was there too; by the way, did they tell you how they got that tower?

Did you get a chance to go to station 3 on the mountain? They have an awesome 2 door Freightliner/Ferrara rearmount engine, however they were at station 1 all day, so by the time we got there to take photos I had to take them inside because it was too dark!
