Wing1223, thanks for the Freeland E54 pic. Looks like a photo not long after delivery as it has had some graphics changes since. Any more Freeland or northeast PA rigs?

What's up with the hard to read font?

[/quote]Jason, I believe it's supposed to be BFFD, "BOROUGH of FREELAND FIRE DEPARTMENT". What's going on in Reading these days?

Actually Joe, I was referring to wings "slime lime" font that's difficult to read on his posts.

I'll send you a message regarding the city, to much to post in here.

Your killing me Bob. That had to be taken before 1985 at the Ox Roast parade. I miss that truck. It served 38 years. Sold to James Calvert from Spotsylvania, VA in April of 1999.

The LaFrance engine served us well until August 1990. Sold to Kinloch and then it went downhill from then.

The Ford of Engine 5 was replaced in 1986. It was sold to a fellow in Washington Township and he made a dumptruck out of it and Engine 4.

Chester, if you look carefully behind the LaFrance engine, you will see the Hamerly.
