When Armold sold it to Sarver, they took the generator off of it and it went on to the 58 B that they built using #2's old B model body. Someone changed the grill out on it to an 81 grill cause I remember that grill in it when Hilltop had it.

Yes we put a 10KW gen on it redid the body and cascade on it. I remember I removed the body with my backhoe. we cut all the steel diamond plate
off and replaced with aluminum to reduce weight , and repainted it. all work did in station by members. I dont know about the grill Hill Top must have changed it. I was Asst Chief at Sarver then.
Thanks for posting this my Father rode this engine out of tylerdale and west end most of his time on the job.Never saw a pic when it still had the booster reel on the rig.Thanks again brings back alot of great memories.
