Built by 4-Guys. During the 1990 Buckeye Oil spill, this tanker hauled the most water to the New Kensington Water Authority reservoir. It ran non-stop for 3.5 days.

Thanks, I have searched for a decent shot of this rig for years! This is the newer of two Ambassador pumpers at Franklin. Both were later sold to Tallassee, AL and later glidered into E-Ones. The older one didn't have the "Maxim" window on the side.

Must have been a parade in Lebanon as it appears to be sitting in front of Henry Houck Elementry School just down from the "Batcave" that was Engine 23's quarters.

So I guess that explains why I have bats in my belfry, from spending many a weekend running there, is that what your saying?

Interesting, I have only seen 1 or 2 other rigs using this Ford chassis. I have to see if I have my pic from Ralston in digital or if I have to scan it to post. They had a home made tank on one of these chassis.

I remember this, the Dodge ambulance and I loved the Caddy ambulance. Bob, do you have the picture of this, the ambo's, the Squirt, and was it Highlands pickup at the fire prevention display at the train station?

Just curious, was it built a an FD tanker or built for the water authority or some contractor?

Thanks for the pic and info.
