Still had some pictures of Vanderbilt LifeFlight...

Vanderbilt LifeFlight is the air medical service for the Level 1 trauma center of Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee.

They operate 1 King Air 200 (fixed wing), 3 Eurocopter EC 145's (rotor wing) and 2 Eurocopter EC 135's (rotor wing) out of the airports of Lebanon, Tullahoma, Clarksville and Mount Pleasant.

During a visit I've made back in October 2010 at VU, they requested a helo at the VU helipad.

Some pictures....

While we were at the helipad, another helo came in. This one (operated by a private company) delivered a neuropatient.

Some pictures of what I fly with...

LAR (Luxembourg Air Rescue), operates out of Luxembourg and provides traumahelicopters within the countries of Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium and France. One helo is based at the Ettelbruck hospital, one at a Luxembourg City hospital and one at the Luxembourg Airport.

LAR flies 6 MD902 helicopters with one or two pilots, a nurse and a doctor.

The main base and HQ is at the Luxembourg Airport, where also 6 fixed wing aircraft are stationed. 1 Cessna 510 Citation Mustang, 2 Learjet 45 and 3 Learjet 35. Those aircraft are operated for worldwide medical flights. However, they're allowed to be adjusted with cargo and VIP modules.

Now, the real working LAR babies are the helicopters of course.

LAR operates 6 helicopters, one of them is a police helicopter for Luxembourg.
