Not sure how true this is,but I was told that this unit was originaly in service in Indian Head,Md.

Maybe someone can verify this,just curious.

I'm pretty sure that this particular Navy Pioneer served at NAS Anacostia originally. It may have been at Navy Base in Indian Head at some point. The Navy used to swap apparatus around from base to base sometimes to extend the service life of a unit. The Army and the Navy bought many of these ALF Pioneers.
