Plow/Salter
hey can anyone help hear, whats the purpose of the truck, i know what ot does but how do they use or deploy this rig? Is it used for just plowing the Rock in the winter and admin. offices or does it lead the way to calls ahead of apparatus during major winter storms?

That truck is used to plow Ft. Totten, which is where these pics were taken, and where the FDNY Quartermaster, Counciling Unit, and EMS Academy are located at in Bayside, Queens.
