I want to say 1987-1989. Some of the officers at that time liked the layout of the top mount and decided thats what they wanted on our Engine 1. Our engine is a 1990.

The Freeport engine-tanker was replaced by the Mack MR/New Lexington engine.

I was just looking at Norwood's website and it shows a white 1970's ALF rearmount quint so I am not 100% sure if they still have the X-Barnesboro piece. I would love to have seen it in person, it is such an odd ball which is what makes it so cool!!

This department is located in upper Dauphin County, Pa about 30 miles north of Harrisburg. They got rid of this rescue truck a couple of years ago and replaced it with an HME rescue engine, they also have a really awesome HEMMIT tanker as seen below in my picture from 2006.
