3rd Alarm-Central Falls, RI-7/2/14
#1
At about 0100 hours on 7/2/14, Central Falls, RI responded to 63 Foundry Street on a reported building fire.  Arriving companies found a vacant 3-1/2 story wood frame structure with fire on all floors.  An almost immediate decision was made to fight this fire from the exterior only.

Ok, I lied.....I just tried some of what I considered "unusable" photos as black and white and was able to salvage these.

Nice job Ed.  Any idea of what companies responded.  I would guess, Pawtucket, Lincoln, Providence and Cumberland came on mutual aid.

Thanks

I saw Central Falls, Pawtucket, Valley Falls (Cumberland) and Saylesville (Lincoln.)  There were multiple companies at the back of the building, but I didn't make it around.  I heard Providence Ladder 4 calling off at the cover assignment at Central Falls HQ as I was driving home.

Have a nice 4th of July.  Of course these days the 4th does not mean what in sed to mean in The War Years in Providence.
