Dumfries-Triangle VFD Brush 503. In the 90's this ran out of FS17. It is also my understanding that the brand new FS23 (originally a DTVFD station) along with FS17 are now both county operated/staffed stations.

Nate,

Your information is not totally correct. FS523 has a career staff 12 hours a day for the engine, volunteer staffing for night, weekends, holidays, Medic 523 is 24-hour career staffed.

I was going on a face to face conversation with a DTVFD Officer when I visited FS3 over a month ago. If I'm off base then my bad.

These next 10 photos are from all over Virginia through the years and I don't have much info on them, so please if you wish, fill in the blanks. Engine 12 in Fredericksburg was this Pierce Arrow.

Another Fredericksburg Engine, this one looks like it was a spare at the time.

Woodstock used to purchase former DCFD rigs, although I believe this one might be from Fairfax County.

1970 Seagrave PT From Takoma Park, MD which replaced a very nice 1953 (?)Seagrave 70th series from the Disctrict of Columbia.
