Billy....looks like RRFD did some major re-arranging. Given all the development in 7's first due, it really needed a truck company. They really should have built more bays with Station 7.
I'm surprised that Engine 7 got the Quantum back......I would think the Crimson would just stay there. Unless it's going to be assigned to the new Station 8 when completed or the Quantum can carry more extrication and rescue equipment. Is there any new apparatus on order or planned? And have they sold any apparatus off? Seth Granville

They did, they moved Battalion 1 to Station 2, Brush 7 & Tender 7 to Station 1, Truck 1 to Station 7. There is also talk about putting an engine back out at 4's (Engine 4).
The reason why they put Engine 7's Crimson into reserve is because there having issues with the pump They got a new Pierce engine on order. Rumor has it, it's going to Engine 1. They haven't sold off any old apparatus. Quote:Billy....looks like RRFD did some major re-arranging. Given all the development in 7's first due, it really needed a truck company. The new engine went to Engine 7. Also they reassigned Engine 1 to Engine 4 and Quint 4 to Quint 1 and placed Truck 4 back in service. Round Rock also takin delivery of a new Skeeter brush truck for Brush 1.
Nice shot....have they taken delivery of the new Engine 7 yet?

Not sure? I haven't been around Station 7 in a long time.
Quote:Engine 5 With all of the changes what units are staffed and how many double companies in RRFD? I saw the new 7 pass through Kansas City last month or early this month headed bound on I-35. Thanks in advance, Rick
