 Their 1st Red Rig was their 1999 Pierce Tower and every Rig after that.

Well Dave, this must have been a ghost rig we both shot back on 7/3/1998. Sure looks red to me.

1996 Pierce Quantum 1500/500/65' Telesqurt, modified after delivery with rear axle moved forward 18" for better weight distribution.

The Chief at Franconia has always told me that the quantum was the biggest waste of money they ever spent. He said it sat in the shop more then it did at the station.

For a good price too.......I tried to find where ex Tower 430s Midmount ended up. They said it was sold somewhere. Any idea?

Depends on what you think is a good price vs. the shape of the rig.

 

I have no clue where TW430 went it never hit the auctions FXCO uses so that means its some where in Va. knowing how FXCO and Va. disposal laws work. I understand that 408 and 440 have buyers already as well.

Its listed for 200,000 but for its age and wear don't know if it will sell for that. I am curious as to where 30s Tower went. Any idea what Tower 440 will get?

Tower 408 is still operating the 2006 MM Pierce. To the best of my knowledge the mid mount towers are trade-ins on new towers so AES/Pierce will be listing them.

Yeah 408 is still in the mid mount but what I said is there is already buyers for them when they taken OOS. If it's AES or another FD I don't know I just inquired with the Captain of App to see if I could get one for parts
