My understanding is that Valley Stream's Rescue was a Gerstenslager.

Some FDNY stuff....circa early 70's I think. Ladder 110 with "riot" protection.
Mack CF Engine 315 one of the first Mack CF's I think.
Engine 275 at work.
Super Pumper system drill...circa 1969 / 70 ish.
Tower Ladder 1 at the drill.
A FANTASTIC Black and White photo. The Manhattan buildings including the trade center frame this perfectly.
You'll never see anything like this built again.
Back East over the county line. Elmont Rescue. Now that's when fire trucks were fire trucks. I don't need to tell you guys that though.
Lynbrook FD B model Floodlight unit.
Front seat of B model rescue from Elmont.
Lynbrook Caddy ambulance.
Excellent

Chief what ever happened to the Young Crusader snorkel? I know Andy tried to rescue it from the junk yard it was in several years back but was not getting anywhere with them, and I never heard what the outcome was.
Great photos!!!!!! keep posting more

It's a shame not to many Young Crusader cabs built. Here is a few pics of it in better days.
