Nice shots Trey. I saw on Pierce's flickr that New Baltimore got a new Quantum? Is it in yet?

Sorry, the pics I recently took are too big, and I can't seem to delete a post once it's started, so...

Have a great weekend! Stay safe!

Side shot. I believe this rig is a twin to the Bravo rig. Dr Feelgood can verify.

There are 3 00 Lances which are 10 "B", 18 "B", and 20 "B" all are considered reserve engines but spend plenty of time front line

Ummm.... Typo. I was referring to the frontline Engine 518, which at the time was out doing inspections. Like I said Dr Feelgood can verify. which you did. Thanks.

Engine 518 is a 03 Lance which has some suttle changes from the 00 models. EMS compartment, crew seating, and some of the equipment locations but that is it. Two of the 00 Lance will be replaced this summer when the new KME engines arrive. The current Engine 518 will go in reserve and at this time 18 is the only station that will get one of the new KMEs.

Thanks for the info!

So why is Dale City liking the KME's? And if they are buying more than one KME engine, why isn't it going front-line somewhere?

Can't speak for them as a Department, but I know they're pretty popular on the west coast and definitely rare in this region. I know their current Rescue is a KME, but have no details on how it's holding since being put in service.

Here's their current Rescue Engine
