Montreal Downtown 5 Alarm Fire-2/28/14

Friday Feb 28, 2014 5 alarm fire in row houses, very cold night 150 firemen respond.

A little background on this fire. Call came in Friday afternoon about 4:45pm. Fire appears to have started in the floor between the basement and the first floor. Fire was in the structure and hard to locate. Ultimately shovels had to be called in to demolish what was left of the 3 buildings. Fire was not called out until late in the day Saturday. No injuries. It was very cold. We brought in city busses as warming places for the members.
