On most SFFD stations in the city (non airport) - does anyone know the deal with the garage doors? They look to be a special type - maybe earthquake proof?

we have 2 types of doors. The later retrofit ones are designed so if we have an earthquake, they will be more forgiving. As they go up, they dont roll up like the older ones.

Gotcha. Cool Smile I was just out there this weekend. Stayed in the Mission, caught a Box Alarm response for smoke in a laundromat.
