Our friend Ron Bogardus has been busy again this winter in Florida. here are some shots from a recent trip "Down South"... First is Broward County Sheriff Engine E-106. Shot at the "shops" , it is an engine/ambulance. A 2011 Pierce Velocity, 1500/750/0 .. This one of a kind unit was delivered in July 2011 and still is not in service. [/quote] The City of Oviedo Florida, near UCF has a Pierce rig that was also Pt transport capable. it runs as a reserve engine now. It never worked right at all from what i had heard abut it...

Unless I am seeing things on the ambo above it may be a Sterling. They were the same vehicle minus the different front sheet metal. But I could just be seeing some lights on the grille where the Sterling badges would be.

I am interested in all of the equipment and apparatus used in fire fighting and ems service.

Miami Dade Fire Rescue Air Truck 13 2004 Pierce Kenworth T-300 6000 PSI I had an hour of "buffing" on our Miami trip. I wanted to photograph this rig but the station it is kept at was too far away. Got lucky and it happened to be filling air at the one station I was able to stop at.
I am looking for pics of a Kenworth/EOne from Hillsbourgh Cty as my department acquired it .
