Our medic unit at work recently had a few cosmetic changes, including a new light-bar. M524 is a 2008 International/Med-Tec, former Gainesville-District Volunteer Fire Dept.
Station 25 in Bristow operates two similar Ferrara engines. Although marked as Wagon 525, this is actually E525B. The "Wagon" designation is no longer used under COG.
Another two similar units are operated at Station 5 in Nokesville.
Last for now is E515B from Evergreen. Formerly Rescue Engine 15, this is the reserve piece at FS 15.
Love the dual roto-rays. Need dual Mars lights also.
Reference to Post 483 for Buckhall.
Does anyone have a current roster of PWC reserve/training academy apparatus? I'm struggling to keep up with the rigs bought and sold within the past year.

Does OWL have any pumpers on order?
Micah,
It would be easier for you to post what you have on record and adjust from there. Sr, Not that I am aware of, and I don't blame them.

Is there now a Truck 23? Is that old Truck 3 or a new company all together? Does it have career staff 24/7? I know we are paying for a 24 hour Special Service on the east end.
Thanks
As far as what I have heard Dumfries Eone Aerial was taken by the county and now serves the west end of the county as a Reserve, Gainesville Quint which acts as a Truck was sent to Station 23 and is staffed by career staff who I believe originally staffed OWL Truck 12.Any corrections welcome.

That's correct Trey. T523 was officially staffed 1/27/14 as the first 24/7 staffed Ladder truck in the County. The staffing came from Tower 512, which is no longer staffed by the career side. T523 is operating the former Quint 4 (which later became T504), plans are for a new unit in the 2015-2017 range. T503 will become the Reserve specialty piece for the West end of the County (primarily as a fill-in for T511 and TW525) as needed. Dumfries will be speccing (or already have specced) a new Rescue to replace T503. Anybody confused yet? Attached is an older picture of T504, now T523. Micah, Currently the Training Academy has 4 engines, 2 ladder trucks, and a medic unit (as well as a host of utility/pick-up vehicles). E519 is a 2006 Ferrara Inferno. 1500/500/40A/40B. First Engine bought by the County. |
