The black over lime rig looks like Nikiski's scheme. They have 2 Pierce engines running up there already.

That is where it's from. Just checked on the Hughes Fire Equipment site for construction pictures.

I still haven't quite come to liking the Q sirens in the middle of the grille on anything besides a Sutphen yet, that ladder just looks odd! Does the Cedar Hill Dash CF have a grille or no?

Great photos,

Traveled to Appleton last week for pre-build meetings on our new rescue. I may have taken a view photos while I was at the plant. Won't post them all right away but here's a couple of teasers.

In the second photo of post #1, did you happen to find out where the red engine sandwiched between the two lime green ones is going to? Any other photos of it? Looks like a neat industrial rig. Thanks for posting your photos!

It appears to be an electronic version of the "Q".

No. They kept driving it around. I never did get a chance to take a good shot.

Not that I remember. For all of the shots I also take a pic (if I can) of the order sheet in the windshields and I don't remember any from Maryland.

One of many Chinese trucks being made.

[/quote]

I noticed this when looking at Pierce's Flickr group - All the rigs destined for China have an "Oshkosh" plate on the grill, not "Pierce," even though they have the Pierce sticker on the crew doors.

Interesting...
