Working House Fire-Westview, MD. Feb. 11, 2014

Around 9:45AM on Tuesday companies were alerted for a house fire. Located less than a mile from Westview Station 13, when they pulled out of quarters there was heavy black smoke showing in the neighborhood. When they arrived at the one-story rancher the whole back of the house was ablaze and fire and smoke showing from the front. I arrived in less than 10 minutes but the bulk of the outside fire was knocked in the rear. There was still fire in the roof and heavy smoke throughout.
