What are the lights right below the Pierce logo on the back? I think this is one of the first I've seen with the top access being to the left instead of the right.

It may be some extra scene lighting, or it could be for the steps/rear cabinet or just some extra warning lights.

The lights appear to be ID lights that are usually mounted in/on the Tailboard. There are none on the Tailboard.
