You're probably right on the year. The 700 series were built from 1947 to 1959, alongside the 800's (the last of which were also built in 1959). Based upon the front bumper, I'm guessing it's a 700. I've seen some late 800 series rigs with the 900 style quad headlights/turn signals like this one has, so I'm guessing this was a factory job, too.
I THOUGHT 1958 WAS THE LAST YEAR FOR 700 SERIES. THAT IS WHY I THOUGHT THE YEAR WAS WRONG. THANKS.

Actually, you're sort of right. The 800 series (which were pumpers only) lasted until 1958. The last 700's were produced in 1959.
