scott; the pics above, the wilkes barre twp Seagrave is currently for sale,their hahn and warrior run ford are in front line with pond hill lily lake fire pa luzerne county. the dodge from suedesburg is still owned by them. idetown still has the chevy howe,which is part of lehman twp luzerne county

It has been awhile since I have seen this piece, but if my memory serves me properly... it is on the rear step up into the body. I only had a couple of minutes to look at the truck as they weren't friendly at Everett and were asking me to leave. I could be wrong on this, I am definutly no where close to perfect though.

After looking at that picture of it, you can indeed see the Hamerly logo on it.... I guess it was refurbed and that was removed. I questioned it being a Hamerly as well, but the guy who was showing me around said no it wasn't, it was an LTI. So that is what I wrote in and believed up to this point, it now serves the Lairdsville Fire Department in Lycoming County. I put a pic of it up under the Pennsylvania Fire/EMS thread and it doesn't have that logo on it.

Those are two different rigs! Check the canopy and jumpseat windows, they are different. If you check out the pics on Highspire's website, they had two Ford C pumpers. My money is on this theory: One was the Hamerly shown in the first pic, lettered for Highspire. The other is the older Ford C at Highspire, that was refurbed by LTI and sold to Lairdsville.

when did lairdsville aquire this engine, last i was out there they had ford KME,ford bean,,american lafrance,brush truck, ems

After a little more research, I found that the Lairdsville rig was previously painted blue/white with red stripes and white stars, before it was rebuilt by LTI. A study of the canopy revealed that the original rig was built by American LaFrance.

sorry;but the newtown and idetown rigs are 2 entirely different vehicles. idetown,j r davis still has their engine,the newtown engine is privately owned in schuylkill county and if you saw them the idetown engine is longer
