Friendship Fire Company, Morgantown (Berks County) Engine 9-3 1985 Hahn
One of the few 5 speed manual 671 detroits on that chassis. Only 5 of us could drive it by the time it was sold.
Glastonbury, Ct. had one on that chassis that had an 8V-92TA with a 5 speed. always seemed that the guys had a had time shifting.

Duncannon, 1967 1000/1000, IIRC, replaced 1994.

Langhorne Middletown and Falls Township had Twins.... they both were demos that JB Hunt, and dealer from Trenton NJ had.
The Falls Township Hahn came off the line first and had the lower production/serial number and was delivered before Langhorne-Middletown purchased it's twin. The Falls rig was also the first Lime Yellow rig in Bucks County

Glastonbury, Ct. had one on that chassis that had an 8V-92TA with a 5 speed. always seemed that the guys had a had time shifting.
They had a few of them if I remember right, believe 2 were identical and ordered/delivered at the same time. I believe one was glidered at one point, one got scrapped, and the last one they got rid of is still in service in Topsham VT w/ the Tri-village fire department.
Glastonbury had 4 1979 engines. E-11 and E-21 were 1000/500. E-31 and E-41 were 1000/750. 11,21,and 31 were the original order with 41 a tack on to replace an older ALF 700 that was totaled in a crash responding to a chimney fire. in 1983, we received a 1983 1000/1000 for E-32. in '84 or '85 we got the engine that i referred to above as E-12. E-11 was transferred to Co2 and became E-22. two of the original 1979 units were glidered by E\-One and two were disposed of in the '90s. E-32 and E-12 were disposed of in the last couple of years.
