Anybody know if Arlington has sold their Eone Rearmont Aerial that was the backup Reserve Truck since the Pierce Arrow XT has arrived?

I was told that it might possibly be assigned to 106 in the future, so I doubt it is gone.

I heard the same thing the other day from a different source saying the Reserve may become T106 with the old T105 becoming the Reserve since they didnt order a 2nd arrow xt truck?

They ordered (2) Arrow XT Ladders. One will become Truck 105, and the Other is a Reserve. I was told that the Current Truck 105 E\-One will be the unit that is sold, or traded in due to the usage and milage.

Truck 106 is owned and maintained by the City of Falls Church and as of today it seems the new truck 105 is inservice being that old truck 105 was sitting at the shops. Also does anyone know about Arlington's training academy. They have destroyed the old burn field they had that was littered with destroyed cars and all of their training props. I think a new burn building is in the works?

Engine410Kid,

My contact in Arlington said that the apparatus replacement in Falls Church was or is going to be taken over by Arlington County in the very near future.
