The new E507. The FRA (Fire and Rescue Association, volunteer and career leadership) developed this new standardized Engine spec (including the unique indented ladder storage). The intent is to have the pump module and body be laid out the same in all future purposes. The individual company can choose the cab manufacturer.
Currently E507, E511, E516, E518, E520, and E592 were designed with the new specs. It remains to be seen how they work for the individual engine companies.
Lake Jackson has two similar Quantums, the disposition of E507C remains to be seen.
In terms of tank size, Tanker 507 is the smallest in the county (2100 gallons).
Station 7 (Lake Jackson) is the primary Swift Water Rescue station in the county. Boat Support 507 (seen here towing Boat 507C) and a variety of boats are kept here.

U507 is also used as a tow vehicle. In the event of a strong storm, this unit (along with a boat) is relocated to FS 24 to provide Swiftwater coverage for the West end of the county. This strategy will be ending soon though, FS 24 is scheduled to receive a boat in January.
AC 507 is this sharp Chevy Silverado.
These are the new style of medic units in the county. Currently, M503, M507, M512, and M514 operate these newer red Freightliners. There are four more medic units on order for M504, M511, M520, and M524.
E508 in Yorkshire operates two similar E-Ones. E508 is staffed Mon-Fri by the career staff, nights and weekends by the volunteer staff.
Seen here running as E524, E508C is another fun one to ride on. It's twin is currently assigned to the Training Academy as E591B.
A508B is one of two ambulances at Yorkshire. Future plans call for a 24 hour medic unit being assigned to station 8.
Manassas Park is a separate department, but runs mutual aid with Prince William County. They have two engines, a quint, and two medic units. M509B is this Ford ambulance. Manassas Park recently took delivery of a new International TerraStar ambulance.
U509 is the former brush truck at Manassas Park.
A510B is one of two ambulances at FS 10. This unit is staffed Mon-Fri by the career staff, it is generally one of the busiest units in the county.
This Quantum at Stonewall Jackson was placed out of service with the arrival of their new Pierce engine.
A511 is the newer of two ambulances at FS 11.
M511 is an example of the older style of medic units in the county. This particular unit has seen a ton of action, it used to be assigned to M520.
More to come later on.
Thanks for the PWC updates. Any plans for "East End" pics from OWL and Dale City?
