Virginia apparatus - miscellaneous
[quote name='Shoop' timestamp='1342577437' post='492509']

Engine410Kid,

My contact in Arlington said that the apparatus replacement in Falls Church was or is going to be taken over by Arlington County in the very near future.

Would not be surprised the rigs in Falls Church are falling apart they use the reserve truck (I believe truck 111) all the time over there

All periods of transition (especially jurisdiction-wise in the fire service) come with a few bumps along the way. Arlington has been ordering top notch rigs. If Arlington is in a period of taking over responsibility of Falls Church's rigs I'm sure their current trend of excellence will continue.

Engine 419's backup rig. I like the general profile of this rig, however I might have pimped out the from end with either a Roto-Ray or Mars Lights. Just my opinion.

Now that I'm living in the Roanoke region J. Featherstone tipped me off to this newly delivered midi-pumper operating out of Roanoke County's most rural (and HUGE) first due areas - Catawba FS4. I'm not even certain of this units designator, as I did not see it on the rig. Possibly Engine 4.
