I believe this is Taneytown, Carroll County MD, a 1949, bought by them new. Diesel replaced orginal motor, the exhaust stack can be seen over the canvas roof.  Still around somewhere local.

This truck is now in South Carolina I believe. My Dept, Mt Pleasant Fire and Rescue, Mt. Pleasant IA purchased it after Abingdon and we sold it 2 years ago.
