Plunskes Garage has a lot of classic trucks, older Fords and Chevys, meticulously restored and maintained, and still used on a daily basis. Well worth checking out......

While nowhere near as cool as the rigs that Mark posted recently, I did think that this one had a nice look to it.

While in Chatanooga, TN this past summer, I got to visit Miller Industries, the leadiing manufacturer of towing and recovery equipment in the world. The facilty is their world headquarters and the heavy wrecker plant. They were building trucks for all over the world, and it was like a kid in a candy store for me. Here's one of the coolest wreckers there:

Anybody watch that show "Highway Thru Hell"? The wreckers are painted almost like the LAFD heavy rescue and they had an old E\-One Hurricane rescue truck as a support unit.

They also have a pumper in their yard ... when you work in 'hell' you might as well be prepared.

Is the old E\-One Hurricane rescue a retired Indianapolis rig?
