And the "highlight" of my trip! Ive been waiting to photograph this rig again........its been almost 6 years since I last shot it, and thought it was LONG gone!

Unfortunately Brightons Tanker wouldnt start. It is an ex Kentville, NS pumper/tanker

[/quote] Dean, The "74 Mack Is gone........Brighton/Barton only has the 3 rigs........i'll be interested to see where the Pierce came from. The chief was the one who pulled the rigs out for me......he had just "happened" to be there as I was driving by!

I have to say I checked out the Canadian Fire Truck Archive and all I can say is outstanding! so much information, it will take me weeks to digest it all! I hope to be able to send you some info as I go thru my Canadian Mack apparatus slides. Thanks for putting that together! The IFBA convention was held in Toronto this year and I was fortunate enough to attend. Had a very nice time, met some fellow fire buffs, and shot a few trucks as well. Rescue engine 423 is a 2010 Crimson Spartan Metro Star with a 1250 pump and 500 gallon water tank.
Aerial 341 was one of those shots where you had to dodge traffic, be alert, and shoot really fast! A-341 is a 2009 Smeal Spartan Sirius with a 1250 pump, 380 gallon water tank and 105' ladder.
General Safety built this 1998 ALF Eagle with 1050/ 500 specs which runs as R 444 in Toronto.
High Rise 332 was stationed a few blocks from the convention hotel, and for the few days we were there, managed to have several runs to the hotel, all which turned out to be nuisanse calls. High Rise 332 was built in 2005 by Dependable Emergency Vehicles on a Spartan Metro Star chassis.
Some of the apparatus display took place at the Toronto training academy and Training Pump 6 was one of the training engines made available for photos. TRP 6 is an E-1 Superior Cyclone with 11050 pump500 gallon water tank, 15 gallon foam tank and 50' Teleboom.
We even had a water display by both Toronto Fire Boats. FB 334 is the William Lyon MacKenzie, built in 1963 by Russell Brothers, and pumps 7000 gallons a minute, carries 1000 gallons of foam, and has a 55' Amador Elevating platform mid ship.

It is a Plastisol body and the truck was refurbed at Dependable Emergency Vehicles. As a side note about HR332 - this is one of if not the only fully staffed high rise units in North America. In the busy summer it can run 35+ calls over a 24 hour shift!
