One of the scheduled events at the IFBA convention in Toronto included a visit to the Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute, a part of the Greater Toronto Airport Authority and next to the airport, where we photographed a few more apparatus. Mississauga, located immeditely west of Toronto brought over a number of apparatus for us to photograph. P-116 in Mississauga is this 2010 Dependable Emergency Vehicles Spartan Metro Star with 1500 pump, 610 gallon water and 50 gallon foam tanks.

The Trench Rescue rig in Mississauga, TR 101 has this 1997 ALF chassis with a 1990 body built by Dependable.
Mississauga brought over several aerials for us to look at, including A-111, a 2011 Smeal Spartan Gladiator wirh a 1750 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank, 50 gallon foam tank, and 105' aerial.
P-119 was built by Smeal in 1996 and uses a HME 1870 chassis, and sports a 1250 GPM pump, 400 gallon water tank and 55' rearmount aerial.
Mississauga Squad 114 runs this 2007 Dependable Spartan Metro Star pumper with1750/500/50 specs.
Mississauga also has a POD type vehicle on their roster. SOV-101 is a 2006 Dependable Freightliner M2-112 and showed up at the photo shoot sporting the trench rescue pod.
The Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute had a couple of their training CFR rigs for us to look over. FESTI #15 is a 1998 Oshkosh with 1625 GPM pump, 1320 gallon water tank, 155 gallon foam tank, and 500 lbs. of dry chem.
Unit #17 for FESTI is another 1998 Oshkosh with a 1625 GPM pump, 2500 gallon water tank, 350 gallon foam tank and 500 lbs. of dry chem.
Pearson Airport, YYZ, sent R-2, a 2006 Oshkosh Striker with 1625 GPM pump, 2500 gallons of water, 250 gallons of foam concentrate and 500 lbs. of dry chem.
R-4 at Pearson Airport is a 2008 Striker with 1625 GPM pump, 3750 gallon water tank, 540 gallon foam tank and a 500 lb. dry chem package
One of the structural fire fighting engines at YYZ is this 2000 E-1 Superior Cyclone with 1250/500/25 for specs.
R-7 showed up as well to be photographed, and is a 2000 Crestline Ford F550 light rescue at Pearson.
The IFBA convention was sponsored by the Greater Toronto Multiple Alarm Association, who along with the help of several other area buff clubs put on a well run event. This buff club runs Support 7, one of the rehab canteens that assist Toronto firefighters.
A bus trip to St. Catharines and Niagara Falls was also part of the 2012 convention, and on this tour, apparatus were again made available for us to photograph. Niagara Falls still has a former Youngwood PA. Sutphen in it's origional blue paint scheme, and was a treat to see. A-4 is a 1988 Sutphen with 1250 GPM pump, 330 gallon water tank and 75' MM aerial.
We photographed a couple of rescues in Niagara Falls, with R-6 being a 1989 Wilcox built truck on an International chassis.
We also photographed this 2008 Sutphen SPH 100 with a 1250 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank, 20 gallon foam tank and 100' aerial running as A-1.
Niagara Falls P-4 is this compact 2002 Dependable Ford F750 1050/500/40 pumper.
Niagara Falls runs several Tankers, and T-6 is a 2000 Superior International 4900 with a 1050 GPM pump and 2500 gallon water tank.
This pumper is no longer running as an active unit on the department, but still looks in great shape. Superior built and delivered this 1050 GPM pumper in 1986 using an International CO 1950B chassis.
