Live Fire Training - Tyringham, MA
#1
Tyringham, MA is what I call a mirco town (pop. 350) but they do have a dedicated fire dept. They hosted Lee and Otis for some live fire on an acquired building on 11/02/13.

Sure would be nice to burn old unused buildings for drills.   Here in New Jersey they used to be able to do that until it was outlawed 40 years ago along with most open burning.   Somewhere along the way there was a drill run by certified instructors using an old school bus with something going wrong causing injuries, some quite severe maybe even critical, to firefighters partricipating with it prompting a grand jury investigation that resulted in a non criminal indictment suggesting that only such practices be conducted at approve certified permanent fire training facilities thus that's all we can do today when it is a live burn.
