Dean,

I have to say I checked out the Canadian Fire Truck Archive and all I can say is outstanding! so much information, it will take me weeks to digest it all! I hope to be able to send you some info as I go thru my Canadian Mack apparatus slides.

Thanks for putting that together!

Awesome, thanks for the kind words! Much appreciated. Definitely happy to see what you have. I've gotten behind on posting stuff and scanning photos - I'd like to do a revamp of the whole site, as it's getting a little long in the tooth. I'm making a lot of progress on my other project (http://fire.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page), so hope to get back to it soon.

View Royal B.C. now operates this 1989 Mack MR heavy rescue as R-36. This is the former rescue that Victoria B.C. ran, and a photo of it as the Victoria rescue can be found in an earlier post in this thread.

The City of Victoria has in past, rebuilt or refurbished some of their former apparatus to extend their service life. The City has for some time run a tanker out of their down town station. I first photographed Victoria's tanker when it was mounted on an International cab over ex City dump truck chassis. Then some time in 2000, when their Nordic Scot chassied 85' ladder tower failed it's test, the ladder was removed, the body rejigged, and the tank from the International was remounted onto the former ladder truck chassis. There is a photo which I posted earlier in this thread showing this reconfigured tanker. When I was over there this summer, I noticed that they have re chassised the 2500 gallon tanker again, this time using a 1991 Western Star truck chassis. Still looks sharp!

There was some down time to be had while attending the IFBA convention, so firepixer BIG DAVE loaded a couple of us up in his car to see the sights and tour some area fire departments. One stop we made was to the Mnjikaning Chippewas Of Rama First Nation fire station where we had a very welcome reception and great cooperation from the on duty staff in positioning their apparatus for us to photograph. P-1 at Rama is a 2002 E-1 Superior Cyclone with a 1050 GPM pump, 800 gallon water tank and 50 gallon foam tank.

The final first line apparatus we photographed while visiting the Rama Fire Station was this 2010 Emergency Support Unit that E-1 delivered in 2010 on a Cyclone chassis. Great crew, sunshine, and nice looking trucks so we left happy!

this pumper was being used by Yorkton while their regular rig was being repaired. It is a 1991 Pierce Lance 1250 gpm pump with serial number #E6445-01. The only markings on it were "5113". Can anyone identify from where this pumper originally came? Do you know the water tank size? thank you.
